Welcome to the True North Event Syndicate Vendor Hub

The True North Vendor Hub is your one-stop resource for everything you need to vend, tattoo, and prepare for a True North Event Syndicate event. Whether you’re looking to join us for the first time or you’re already registered for an upcoming show, this is where you’ll find the information, resources, forms, and links you need.

From the Vendor Hub, you can apply to vend or tattoo at upcoming events, view event dates and details, download official Marketing Packets and promotional materials, view event floorplans, purchase electric, WiFi, and other venue services, and access important event-specific information as it becomes available.

Registered vendors will also find load-in and load-out information, maps, day-of instructions, food truck information, required forms and permits, event graphics and videos for sharing, and other resources to help you get ready for the show.

The Vendor Hub does not contain your individual registration, booth, table, or placement information. Think of it as TNES mission control for everything else you need before showtime.

Bookmark it. Check it. Use it. We’ll keep it updated as new information becomes available.

Report Use of AI

We’ve developed this form for you to report the use of AI at any of our shows.

We perform a very thorough check of all vendors before approving their application, but that doesn’t always mean someone isn’t bringing items that weren’t part of their original application, that they didn’t know or understand our rules, or are sharing space with an unapproved vendor using AI in the creation of their products (our greatest, most often offender).

This isn’t here to “tattle” on anyone. We’re all adults here. However, there is a time where we need to make it a point to retain and protect out creative spaces. This is one of those times, and this is one of those spaces.

If you see something, and you would like to say something, you may do so anonymously using this form. We won’t know who sent it unless you’d like to tell us. Otherwise, we’ll carefully and fairly review any submission using this form.

We appreciate you in advance for your professionalism and/or watchful eye on a space we’ve all worked very hard to build.

Frequently Assed Questions

True North Event Syndicate Vendor Agreement

When you register for a True North Syndicate show, you are agreeing to the terms and rules below. Give them a read.

Individuals, small businesses, artists, crafters, makers and organizations may apply to exhibit. TNES does not allow informational only booths.

DIRECT SALES AND MLM (MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING) VENDORS
TNES does not accept representatives of brands such as Pink Zebra, Avon, Scentsy, Bathfitters, LuLaRoe, Jamberry Nails, Origami Owl or ANY other Direct Sales or MLM representative. We reserve the right to reject any vendor for any reason. If you register as a vendor, we will cancel your registration and refund your money minus a 50% processing fee.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
Weapons (real or 3D printed), guns, knives, swords etc., blatant pornography, tobacco products, alcoholic products, cannabis, any and all illegal substances, minstrel art or items exhibiting rebel flags are prohibited. TNES prohibits the sale of AI created artwork, any and all racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, heterosexist, transphobic, nazi paraphernalia, and anti-semitic materials. We do not allow MAGA or Trump related or other politically branded or motivated items. We do not allow items that include weaponized phrases or terms (this includes Blue Line items).

True North Event Syndicate has spent more than a decade developing a safe space for all exhibitors and attendees. Breaking these rules will be cause for immediate expulsion from the event, forfeiture of your vending fee and a ban on all future events. We take this extremely seriously and we ask you to as well. This includes vendors wearing any political tshirt, hat, or accessory. If you are present and vending at our event while wearing banned items, you will be asked to remove them from the event. If you do not comply, your registration and table will be canceled and forfeited and you will be removed from the event.

AI ART
TNES does not allow AI generated art under any circumstance. If you are found to be exhibiting/selling AI generated art, you will be ejected from the event and you will forfeit your table/booth fees. Zero Exceptions.

AI BANNERS AND SIGNAGE
Vendors may NOT display banners or signage that were cerated using AI prompts or imagery. We are a safe space for creatives. Your AI banners are not allowed and you will be told to remove them if we discover them on display. If refused, you will be ejected from the event sand forfeit all vending fees.

AI EVENT MARKETING
Vendors may not use AI to create flyers or other art to promote their appearance at any True North Event Syndicate related event. We will ask you to remove any social media posts if discovered. If refused, you may forfeit your ability to vend and all vending fees.

DO NOT CREATE AI FLYERS TO PROMOTE AN APPEARANCE AT ANY OF OUR SHOWS. This may result in being removed from the show and you may be removed form our vendor list entirely.

3D PRINTED ART
We strongly prefers the sale of original, artist-created 3D printed designs. The reproduction or resale of public-domain files, mass-distributed templates, or widely available online designs is discouraged. Vendors found to be overwhelmingly relying on public templates, reproduced designs, or non-original files may forfeit their vending space without refund of fees.

TEMU/ALIBABA/ETC
Far too many vendors are selling enamel pins, stickers and more purchased from Temu, Alibaba etc... with much of it being stolen art. In some cases, stolen from our vendors. If you are found to be carrying any mass produced artwork purchased from websites such as Temu,. Alibaba etc, you will be ejected from the event and you will forfeit your table/booth fees. Zero Exceptions.

HANDMADE JEWELRY
We no longer allow jewelry "makers" who purchase wholesale jewelry from sites such as TEMU, Alibaba or any other overseas or domestic wholesaler. Your product must be handmade or hand forged. Hand assembled isn't handmade. Sorry, we don't make the rules.

VENDOR FEES, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
As a general rule of thumb, TNES does not provide refunds under any circumstances, once you have registered or made a deposit for any of our events.

If you are unable to make an event, and you'd like to transfer your booth to another vendor, please contact us and we'll work with you to transfer your registration, but this must occur at least 14 days prior to the event. If you request a transfer/credit to a future event at least 30 days in advance, we will do our best to honor your registration and carry it forward to another event, for up to one year from the event date your transferred from. If you do not provide at least 30 days notice, you're request may not be honored. If an event is cancelled, all vending fees will be credited to future events. Cash refunds are not provided under any circumstances.

Please contact thepunkmarket@gmail.com ASAP to transfer your booth to another vendor or transfer your registration to a future event. Please note, canceling within 14 business days from the event, we will not provide refunds, transfers or credits under any circumstances.

INVENTORY DAMAGE AND INSURANCE
TNES is not responsible for any harm or damage caused to any items or inventory while loading in, vending at or loading out from any of TNES event. TNES encourages all vendors, artists and makers to carry event insurance for this exact purpose. You can often purchase a per event policy for under $75. We suggest looking at either ACT INSURANCE or EVENT HELPER.

SUBLEASING YOUR SPACE
TNES events are curated and we do not allow the resale  or sharing of tables or booths once you register for our events. If you are found to have subleased or are sharing your space with an unapproved vendor, you and the vendor who subleased/shared the space with you will be ejected from the event and you will forfeit your table/booth fees. Zero Exceptions

APPLICATIONS & PAYMENTS
All exhibitors must first apply to vend and wait for an Acceptance, Regret or Waitlist offer before moving to the next step which is registering online and paying for your vending space. All payments must be made online and in advance of the event. We do not reserve space. We're always happy to work with our exhibitors, so if you require a payment plan, please email us directly at thepunkmarket@gmail.com. Your acceptance email will come from Leap Events.

MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA
All registered exhibitors will receive free flyers and posters if they so choose. We ask that you please respect other show promoters rules with regards to promoting outside events but if you are able to promote our event at your upcoming shows and everyone's cool with it, we'd love that. You are welcome to promote your upcoming shows at our events although it must be done tastefully and flyers must not be larger than 5x8. Posters of any size are not allowed to promote upcoming shows. We do have approved social media marketing elements that we will be sending out to all exhibitors as they register. Please use these images and tag us on social media as well!

COMPETING FACEBOOK EVENTS
Please do not create competing social media events (ie. Facebook events) as it's confusing and stops the potential attendee from receiving all of the proper information and marketing for our event. Please use official social media event links for promotion only. If you do start your own event, we will ask you to take it down.

HEALTH PERMITS
You may sell prepackaged food but it does require a Health Permit. You can register and pay for this permit once you are approved to vend. We will file for the permit on your behalf. Single or Multi-Day vendors require only one permit. Although not required to send to us in advance, you should be prepared to provide copies of any food/cottage licenses, commissary or co-packing plant health reports etc. The local health department may ask for these documents, so please have them available when vending.

TATTOO ARTISTS
We will file for the health permit on your behalf but please note that it is 100% your responsibly to pass local health inspection. Individual Tattoo Artists must be able to provide an up-to-date liability insurance coverage as well as an up-to-date BBP Certification. If you are unable to vend due to not passing inspection or providing your proper documentation, your vending fee and table will be forfeited. For a full list of what the local health department requires for a temporary health permit inspection, please email thepunkmarket@gmail.com.

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO INCLUDE IMAGES OF YOUR SET UP AND PRODUCT AS WELL AS WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS DURING THE APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION PROCESS.
When you apply, you are applying to sell a specific category of items. When you change that, it may require a second approval. We don't need (or want) to hyper-monitor every item you sell but if you applied under one selling category and you're selling under another (or are now on the cusp of another) you'll require another approval. If this is the case, please message us at least 30 days in advance at thepunkmarket@gmail.com.

BY REGISTERING FOR A TNES EVENT, YOU AGREE TO VEND UNTIL DOORS ARE CLOSED.
You may not pack up or leave early. If you do, you will forfeit any vending fee and risk a ban for future shows. If you are experiencing an issue that requires you to leave immediately, we ask that you please visit the show runners booth to speak to one of our staff. We'll never stop someone from leaving but if you are experiencing an emergency, we can help get you out quicker and navigate any security, parking etc. Emergencies happen but know that we're here to help, not hinder, so remain calm, let us know the situation and we'll do what we can to help you get to where you need to be. Hang in there. We love you. :-)

ALL EXHIBITORS MUST BE LOADED IN BY THE TIMES SPECIFIED ON YOUR LOAD IN EMAILS.
We set the load in times for a specific reason so please be sure to do your best to follow that. In the event you are running late, we ask that you please reach out to us immediately. We include day of contacts in our load in details email that go out a week in advance of the event. Please note that our vendor registration ends at least one hour before doors. We do not accept vendors after the event has started. If you are running that late, please be sure to reach out to us to the Day Of contact provided. We're always happy to do what we can to work with you as long as we have a heads up and can prepare for it in advance. If you don't provide a heads up and it's too late to now load in, you will forfeit your vending fee.

SHARING BOOTHS OR TABLES IS 100% PROHIBITED.
Due to the fact that all exhibitors must be approved to vend, we do not allow sharing. We are happy to do our best to honor any placement requests if you'd like your own table next to a friends table or booth.

NO OPEN FLAMES OR LIT CANDLES/INCENSE.
Look, we love a little patchouli as much as the next GenXer but not everyone does so let's not do that. You're welcome to sell both candles and incense but you may NOT burn them.

NO TENTS OR CANOPIES.
Fire Marshall's hate indoor tents and canopies. You may use the empty frame, but you may not use the canopy cover indoors.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SPELL YOUR EMAIL PROPERLY ON YOUR APPLICATION AND SUBSEQUENT REGISTRATION FORM.
It's imperative we have the proper email to be in contact with you. Email is how we communicate with our exhibitors so please double check your email when registering. To contact TNES, shoot an email to thepunkmarket@gmail.com. Personal Social Media messages about vending related questions will be ignored.

VENDOR HUB, LOAD IN DETAILS ETC
Vendors may now register for, and log into, our new VENDOR HUB, which gives vendors access to event related graphics, vending info, load in details and more. The link for the VENDOR HUB will be sent in your the confirmation email you receive after officially registering for the event.
